This questionnaire will hopefully help us to make the final decisions on what our crime drama clip should be about and we could improve it. I have printed some out to give to my tutor group, teachers and my friends in my Sunday league football team.

The characters that we decided that will be in the film are as follows:

The Criminal

The Criminals Girlfriend

So far were still looking for some more characters that will play these roles but what we have is the criminals girlfriend who might be mariya, officer's child who is mariya's little sister or brother, gang members students from our college. if we don't find any more characters than i will step up as the criminal or the officer/cop and i would have to change my role from cinematography to editing as mohamed doesn't want to be an actor.

Final Idea

Our film or clip will start with a flashback that will be about a man called john (who is known to be around gangs and violence), goes home to find that his wife is cheating on him. Without disturbing them he goes outside around the corner with a baseball bat to wait for the man who slept with his wife. As the man comes out his flat he walks home taking the usual route listening to some loud music not knowing whats following him. As they walk into quiet gloomy alley way, john takes the advantage and beats the life out of the man. Flashback is over and we return to john running away from a cop called DC Moore who has a similar problem as john and tries to convince him that he can't run forever and that people would understand his situation. As our clip comes to the end our group decided to finish it with john getting away in a vechile to create that tension and raise those question where the audience ask themselves if john would be caught or not and what will happen to his wife.

Titles

After lots of discusion about what to name our team, the drama and the episode we came to the conclusion of:

Team name : Nemises
Crime Drama Name : Innocence
First Episode Name : The Chase

this wasn't straight forward we changed it several times before we came to that conclusion. our first idea was to call the drama chase but after thinking about it was best to call that the episodes name.

The Team and Roles

In the team we have four people each with a different role.

Azma Parveen is the Director because i believe that she could come up with good ideas and encourage the team to do their roles well.

Mohammad Hussain is the Editor who volunteered to do this role and believes that this is his strength and is better at it than the other roles.

Mariya Rabani is in control of Sound as this is her strenght and has listened to many variety of sounds which means that this could help the team.

The final member of the team is me Radwaan Idris, and im in charge of cinematography this is becuase i have done this role before and this could give us the edge to get a good result for our film.

Idea

We started discussing some ideas about our film and what it will be about and we had some good ideas such as:

1. Gang related violence
2. Cheating couples
3. Snitch
4. Robbery

Thats all the good ideas we had, we didn't decide yet on what the main story will be about but i beleive that it would be related to that cheating idea.

The Brief

We were given our task today which was based on making a 3 minute crime drama the opening sequence in a group. this task looks like a challenge but at the same time exciting.

This task wouldn't really be hard as i've done this sort of thing before in my film studies subject where i was the cinematographer so i have that skills with the camera. But that time it was a 2 minute clip about anything but had to have that suspese and tension element.I watch lots of crime drama's mostly the bill and i'm looking to do something like the bill or related to it also i can't wait to start producing the film.
